New Enterprise pulverized aglime is available in bulk or by the bag to meet the needs of farmers and commercial applicators as well as homeowners. Pulverized limestone application helps maintain proper soil pH levels and replenishes vital calcium and magnesium nutrients to help maintain fertile soil conditions in plant root zones and ensure that your soil is most favorable for plant growth. Maintaining proper soil pH increases the effectiveness of high-cost fertilizers and herbicides and increases the effectiveness of other natural soil nutrients such as phosphorus, nitrogen, and manganese which are sensitive to soil pH.

Calcium Limestone

Calcium and magnesium are critical soil nutrients. Calcium is essential for microorganisms as they turn crop residues into organic matter and is essential in releasing other nutrients to the plants. Applying pulverized limestone is the low cost way to supply calcium nutrients to the soil and to help adjust the soil pH in the same application. Magnesium Limestone

As a key measure of many soil test recommendations, the magnesium guarantees in various aglime products are an important consideration to assure proper application amounts, pH correction, and soil nutrient levels. Each ton of New Enterprise magnesium limestone adds approximately 240 pounds of magnesium and 420 pounds of calcium to the soil.

• Dry bulk – Dry, boom-spreading gives a more consistent and efficient ground coverage on agricultural applications. The aglime’s particle size guarantee provides assurance of both short-term and long-term correction of soil pH and release of vital soil nutrients. The combination of even soil coverage and timely application in late fall, winter, or early spring is the most effective use of limestone.
• Dry bagged – 50 pound bags of calcium and magnesium (dolomitic) limestone are available for smaller lawn and garden applications with the same quality guarantees.
• Damp – Designed for spinner-spreader application methods, New Enterprise damp aglime products provide additional lower-cost alternatives for aglime needs while still providing quality guarantees and aglime benefits with a higher moisture content. Damp calcium aglime products are available as Ag-20 and Ag-16.

Barn-Dri™

New Enterprise Barn-Dri is a non-slip agent that contains a combination of coarse granular limestone particles for traction and finer limestone particles for absorption. It’s all natural pulverized limestone that’s non-toxic to animals and pets and is an excellent drying agent for animal stalls and pens to improve the health and cleanliness and help control dampness in animal areas. In addition, since it’s a pulverized limestone it adds the same important calcium and magnesium nutrients to animal manure and improves the value of the manure as a mineral-rich soil conditioner.
